I am a painter as well as a photographer

and with both of these, whatever I am creating or trying to achieve is coming from

the soul.

It is all the things that inspire me and ignite

my creativity... be it visual inspirations, foodie ones (ahh... I haven't mentioned my passion for food yet... especially chocolate!!) or music ones, I believe that all of this combined is what gives me passion and drive to explore ideas and try new things. To create a piece of work that has some magic, that little something extra that enchants... and tells a story to the viewer, drawing them in for a closer look...

When I am looking at something I want to photograph I don't merely want to capture it... to have it looking exactly as I am seeing it, I am thinking of different ways and techniques to use with my camera to capture something artistic and evocative. One of the ways to do this is 'painting with my camera' also known as intentional camera movement or ICM where I move the camera as I take the shot.
